The Daney family, whose roots in the region go back to 1670, bought Cru d'Arche Pugneau in 1923. Jean-Francis Daney is the current owner; he manages 11 ha of vineyards located in the former village Boutoc, now in the Preignac district. Cru d'Arche Pugneau is characterized by an exceptional estate. Its grape variety, 80% Semillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Muscadelle, is typical for Sauternes wines.
