The Zenith El Primero De Luca is a special series of Zenith chronographs, produced between 1988 and 1996, named after Sergio De Luca, who was CEO of Zenith at the time.

Distinctive Features:

Panda Dial: The first series, known as MK1, features a "panda" dial with secondary dials in contrasting colors (usually black on a white dial or vice versa).

Steel Bracelet: It is characterized by a three-link stainless steel bracelet, with polished central links and brushed outer links.

Movement: It houses the automatic chronograph movement Zenith El Primero 400, known for its high frequency (36,000 vph).

Case: The case, usually steel, has a diameter of 40 mm.

First Series (MK1):

The first series is distinguished by the plexiglass crystal, a non-screw-down crown, non-screw-down pump pushers, and the absence of the "El Primero" text on the dial, despite using the Caliber 400.
