VOLTA presents ‘Secret Garden’, an original acrylic painting (2026) signed by hand, image size 90 x 70 cm (canvas 100 x 80 cm), in excellent condition, sold directly by the artist from Italy, unframed and rolled for shipment; certificate of authenticity available on request in digital form.
Description from the seller
The garden emerges from a dense weave of deep greens, crossed by blue windows and sudden sparks of light.
Below, the water opens into a luminous purple, collecting the reflection of the architecture and transforming it into pure painting.
A small group of ducks breaks the quiet, letting their movement become the narrative center of the scene.
The brushstroke proceeds in rapid, overlapping touches, making leaves, sky, and reflections vibrate without fully defining their boundaries. The echo of Impressionist gardens and en plein air painting is pushed toward a more intense and almost night-time dimension.
Signed and dated 2026 in the bottom right
Image size: 90 x 70 cm
Overall canvas size: 100 x 80 cm
The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube.
The certificate of authenticity is issued exclusively upon request, in digital format.
Volta’s research moves within the wake of a return — not nostalgic, but active. The great tradition of European painting is the starting point: the period each work evokes, from time to time. But the gesture with which this heritage is traversed is unequivocally contemporary. Color does not illustrate, it breathes. The brushstroke does not describe, it vibrates. What remains of the past is the deep structure — a certain idea of the body, of space, of light — while the surface is fully present, fully alive. Volta does not quote, returns: his compositions seem to emerge from a shared cultural memory, brought to light with different eyes.
