AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Opera realized in 2026 by the artist Emma Beatrice Pierotti, born 1990 in Italy, known as MEMÉ. An emerging self-taught artist, she has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions with participation certificates and awards such as artist of the year, and featured in art catalogues such as Effetto Arte of the years 2024 and 2025, e.g. Bruxelles, London, Miami, New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Venice, Rome, with frequent collaboration with the University of Fine Arts of Istanbul, ARDAHAN ÜNİVERSİTESİ
GÜZEL SANATLAR FAKÜLTESİ
FACULTY OF FINE ARTS.

This work in acrylic and ink is made on canvas with mixed media, measuring 200x210 cm (the measurements refer to the entire canvas without the frame; one should consider the cm used for the stretcher, about 3/5 per side, if you want it framed).

*the canvas may appear crumpled; this does not compromise the quality and suitability of the work, and once the canvas is stretched the creases will disappear.

A bit like the first circle of Purgatorio in Dante’s Divine Comedy, you have Pride, it passes over everything, it embellishes, it adorns, it surrounds itself with BEAUTY, with that air of convinced physical and intellectual perfection.
In my paintings there are animals, not because they are different, inferior or superior, but because they are exactly like us, rich in virtue and capable of anything; we are animals exactly like them, no more, no less; they reflect us in the wildest and most ancestral way.

Unique in its kind, in excellent condition, hand-signed bottom right and on the left side (to allow horizontal or vertical placement) with ink and on the back with ink; the frame is not present. Shipping would be with the canvas rolled in a reinforced cardboard tube suitable for shipment.
The packaging is made from recyclable materials to counter pollution and encourage the recycling of existing materials; this too can become a creative and pleasant process without compromising packaging suitability.
*For shipments outside Italy, any duties and customs taxes are the buyer’s responsibility, unless a specific shipping service is requested.

The work is catalogued and deposited in the International Archive of Modern Art; authenticity and archival certificates will be delivered together with the work in paper format. The certificate of ownership is available on request in pdf format.

*The photos of the works may slightly vary in color depending on the device used to view the painting. In close-up detail images the color is as faithful as possible. In the illustrative images I use a dedicated artist software to simulate the framed work in a common environment.

Seller's Story

I am an abstract painter, I love how colors and shapes come to life in movement, whether geometric or soft. I paint and draw, and I have always been fascinated by ceramics; only about five years ago did I enter the art world through solo and group exhibitions around the world, winning some awards such as Best Artist. I exhibit a couple of times a year, by invitation, with Istanbul University of Fine Arts, the Ardahan University Guzel Sanatlar Fakultesi. Each of my works is unique in its own right and never devoid of personality; each of them has a full reason to be, for what they convey in their expressions, and for this reason they all have a name. I prefer canvases from medium to very large.
