Description
Graceful bell-form cup with elegantly flared rim tapering smoothly to a gently rounded body and neatly formed foot ring. Exquisitely enamelled in a rich, even ruby-pink (carmin) glaze covering the exterior, with crisp white interior and rim providing a striking contrast. Fine porcelain with softly lustrous glaze finish, perfectly proportioned in a classic shape favoured in refined ceramic design.
Condition
Well-preserved overall with only faint wear consistent with age and careful handling; no cracks, chips or restoration. Minor minute firing speckle visible on exterior — in manufacture and not damage.
