Incense burner - Brass - Openwork Steed

This vessel features a two-part construction: the body is modeled as a steed and is fitted with a detachable, openwork lid. The lid is finely carved with "square-hole coin" motifs and topped with a knob shaped like a sycee (ingot), while the body is further embellished with relief carvings of a saddle, beaded tassels, and ruyi patterns. The surface displays a rich, antique patina; free from major cracks, it shows only minor, natural signs of wear. It serves equally well as an incense burner or as a decorative display piece.
