Longines reference 7452 vintage manual-wind watch from the 1960s, powered by the manufacture Longines calibre 281 with 17 jewels, steel case about 32–33 mm, nacre dial with date at 3 o'clock and central seconds, leather strap, in very good condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
I am offering for sale this vintage Longines mechanical from the 1960s, equipped with the Longines manufacture caliber 281 manual winding.
The watch presents a particularly elegant and balanced configuration: steel case, light dial with the very characteristic design of that period, baton hour markers and date window at 3 o'clock.
The dial is original, as are the hands, and shows a beautiful patina consistent with the age of the watch. The case retains nice proportions and shows no signs of excessive polishing. The plexiglass crystal is in very good condition.
Together it offers this sobriety and finesse characteristic of the fine Longines of the 1960s.
To this aesthetics adds a real horological interest with the Longines 281 caliber, manual-winding mechanical manufacture movement of 17 jewels, with central seconds and date function. It belongs to the renowned family of the 280 calibers developed by Longines in the 1960s.
