Exceptional Moroccan octagonal serving tray, dating from 1943, according to the antique dealer, and presented as a unique piece.
This large-format traditional Moroccan tray features an elaborate handcrafted decoration covering the surface, with intricate engraved and embossed geometric, floral and arabesque motifs characteristic of Moroccan decorative arts. The richly ornamented border complements the central composition and gives the piece a particularly striking and elegant appearance.
Its generous dimensions and elaborate craftsmanship make it an excellent decorative and collectible piece, suitable for display as well as for traditional serving purposes. Its distinctive design and individual character make it an especially interesting example of Moroccan decorative arts from the mid-20th century.
