Ian Arsene's Traffic Light is a 2026 original mixed-media triptych on canvas (92 × 120 cm) from the Where the Abstract and Nature Merge series, unsigned and in excellent condition, produced in France.
Description from the seller
Triptych in mixed media on canvas – 92 × 120 cm (2026)
Traffic Light is a triptych belonging to the series Where the Abstract and Nature Merge, where three independent canvases come together to form a single visual composition.
The work combines subtle figurative references with an abstract language inspired by urban art. Layers of paint, gestural marks, handwritten text, spray and drips build a dynamic composition, where the eye naturally travels across the three panels.
The contrasts between greens, yellows, reds and neutral tones evoke the idea of signaling and movement, functioning as a metaphor for choices, change and direction. The presence of organic elements and animal forms reinforces the link between nature and contemporary expression, one of the central themes of this series.
Each panel has its own identity, but only together do they reveal the complete narrative of the work, creating a continuous dialogue between color, gesture and composition.
This is an original, unique work, entirely handmade.
Technique: Mixed media on three canvases (acrylic, spray, markers and other materials).
Year: 2026
Dimensions: 92 × 120 cm (triptych).
