*Gucci Bamboo Jackie Bag vintage* camel/honey color.
*Technical sheet*
*Model*: Jackie Bamboo - 60s/70s
*Material*: Saffiano leather/weaved in camel + handle in natural lacquered bamboo
*Iconic detail*: Diamond-shaped front clasp with hook + reinforced corners
*Period*: With that glossy bamboo handle and the soft shape I’d say vintage 70s
1. *Bamboo handle*: Each Gucci handle is handmade and never perfectly identical. The ivory/beige lacquer is the right one for vintage. Fakes have bamboo that’s too yellow or plasticky.
2. *Hook clasp*: The diamond shape with a hook is typical Jackie. The brass has the right patina, not too shiny.
3. *Leather*: Vintage Gucci saffiano has this fine grain and takes natural creases. I also see the corner reinforcements.
The vintage Jackie Bamboo bags are back in strong fashion after Alessandro Michele's re-edition. Collectors seek them.
