Kerkinterieur is an oil painting by the Hollandse School (XX) from circa 1900–1910, origin Netherlands, hand-signed, in good condition, 54 cm high by 44 cm wide (frame included), weighing 1500 g, depicting an interior scene, sold with its original frame.
Description from the seller
Very decorative painting. It is a church interior (church landscape) painted by a skilled artist, whose signature is not easily decipherable (see photos).
The painting dates from around 1900. It is an oil painting on canvas. The canvas is 40 cm high and 30 cm wide, and with the frame the painting is about 54 cm high and 44 cm wide. The style is Dutch School.
The painting still looks good. Under the signature there is a piece of linen visible without paint, but the likelihood is that this has always been so. The frame is the original one and is made of plaster on a wooden backing. The color is olive-green-gray and it has eight ornaments. Here and there there are some damages to the frame (see photos), but it still presents very well.
The painting appears slightly yellowed by smoke, but it could also be that the somewhat yellow tint was painted that way by the artist.
The painting will be carefully packed and insured for shipment.
