A 3-arm lead-crystal candle holder dating from the 1950s–1960s, designed by Val Saint Lambert in Serain near Liège, Belgium, in clear crystal with blue accents, hand-blown and signed Val Saint Lambert.
Description from the seller
This three-branch candlestick, also known as the "Giraffe" candlestick, is a vintage clear glass sculpture designed in the period 1950-1960 by the glass art factories of Val Saint Lambert from Seraing near Liège, Belgium.
The model is known as the "Giraffe" due to its characteristic Y-shape and the round openings that resemble horns.
These heavy lead-crystal vases, because of the high lead content, have a very clear crystal appearance.
It is a hand-blown design and executed in clear crystal glass (high lead content) with blue accents.
It is in very good condition, signed "Val Saint Lambert" at the bottom of the base.
