Yulanda Ferrer’s SUMMER IN PARIS - NO reserve is an original oil painting (1/1) from 2026, a surrealist still life 41 cm high by 33 cm wide, signed on the reverse, with a Certificate of Authenticity, sold directly from the artist and shipped unframed from Spain.
Description from the seller
For me, the painting is about the small contradictions that make summer in Paris so memorable — elegance and appetite, sophistication and humour, beauty and everyday life existing side by side. The surreal combination is intentionally simple, leaving space for the viewer to invent their own story.
The scene is playful, slightly absurd, and unmistakably Parisian. A familiar everyday object becomes almost sculptural, while the shoe introduces elegance, vanity and a touch of theatre. Against the intense blue background and warm red surface, the composition feels bold, graphic and immediate.
The visible oil texture and strong colour contrasts give the work a physical presence beyond the initial humour of the image. It is a contemporary still life with a surreal twist: light-hearted at first glance, but carefully balanced in form, colour and tension.
