Laviolette Limoges – set of 12 porcelain dinner plates – circa 1900

Elegant antique set of 12 porcelain dinner plates, manufactured in Limoges, France, attributed to Manufacture Laviolette.

The plates are white porcelain with a graceful scalloped edge and refined gold/rose-gold ornaments. On the underside is the characteristic green stamp “LIMOGES – arrow – FRANCE”, used by Laviolette around the turn of the century. Additionally, in the porcelain is a small impressed production mark, similar to the letter A, or on some pieces, a D, present.
