Rare Antique Medical Book (1784) - Midwifery Practice School - Prof. J.B. Jacobs
Description:
A particularly special and historically valuable medical work from 1784.
• Title: Midwifery Practice School
• Author: Prof. J.B. Jacobs
• Publisher: J. F. Vander Schueren, Ghent (Te Gend)

• Illustrations: Featuring beautiful, detailed copper engravings (engravings by Tiberghien) of the human pelvis, anatomy, and fetal positions.
Details & Condition:
• Authentic 18th-century edition on laid paper.
• Contains old provenance marks: an elegant 18th/19th-century ink inscription ("Ce livre appartient à...") and a stamp from a former physician.
• The binding shows wear (loose spine/edges) and the interior has discoloration/rust spots in keeping with an age of over 240 years. All engravings and pages are original.
