Extraordinary set of 8 vintage medium‑sized posters dedicated to the poetic and visionary universe of Jean-Michel Folon, among the most refined illustrators and artists of the European late 20th century.
Note: This is a later edition from the 1970s.
The works feature Folon’s typical suspended and metaphysical subjects: solitary figures, ethereal landscapes, symbolic eyes, imaginary architectures, and softly hued colors that oscillate between dream and melancholy. An extremely coherent and visually striking ensemble, perfect for both collectors and high-end interior decorating.
The lot includes posters linked to notable events and galleries such as:
