Description from the seller
Centerpiece / decorative bowl with angels and roses – romantic style
Elegant decorative bowl in resin or composite material, with a particularly elaborate shape. The ivory basin, with a festooned edge, is adorned with numerous roses in relief arranged in garlands, with delicate touches of gilding highlighting the outlines.
The central shaft is embellished with two winged cherubs (putti), while the base features a rich decor of foliage, beads, scrolls and rocaille motifs enhanced with gold.
The ensemble offers a romantic, baroque and highly ornamental aesthetic, with a striking decorative presence.
The piece shows a patina and signs of use, notably wear to the gilding and some small marks related to its age. The underside also has two small holes as well as an old trace of a label or marking, see the photos; they are an integral part of the description.
