Description from the seller

This figurative and offbeat work features an iconic pop culture character, reminiscent of the Blues Brothers’ aesthetic, dressed in a stern black suit, a Fedora hat, and dark sunglasses. A cigarette at his lips, he rides with unfaltering seriousness a tiny bright red motorcycle bearing the number “1.” The striking contrast between the man’s stature, his impassive demeanor, and the vehicle’s ridiculous size creates an immediate comic and surreal effect. The background, treated with vibrant painterly brushstrokes representing a sunlit, tree-filled landscape, reinforces the scene’s absurd mismatch. A bold, humorous composition that playfully reinterprets the codes of cinematic culture.

Le Yack, a French emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a creative director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited within a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.

Others are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection. Le Yack’s style reflects a fusion between traditional realism and the creative possibilities offered by digital technology.
