Unknown artist - Goblet - Crystal

An antique Bohemian or German crystal glass lidded goblet cup, dating to the 19th or early 20th century. The body is coloured a warm yellow-orange and is decorated with wheel-engraved and etched panels bearing an inscription of notable sites, a format associated with the commemorative and spa-souvenir glassware produced in the Bohemian and German glassmaking tradition of the period. The goblet retains its original fitted lid. No maker's mark or glasshouse attribution has been identified; the colouring technique has not been determined from inspection. Condition is Good: the piece shows minor chips around the body, consistent with age and use; no cracks or repairs are observed.
