"Bond"
This piece, executed in acrylic on canvas, explor es stylizedly a trio of cats. It deliberately withdraws from realism to dive into a symbolic language, where form and color not only represent, but also communicate emotions and relational dynamics.

The work encapsulates the essence of the “domestic pack” and the interconnection among its members. The composition is carefully orchestrated so that the three felines, though clearly individualized by size and position, are perceived as a single organic entity. This is achieved through the use of curves that interlace in a rhythmic way, creating a protective frame that encloses and unites the figures. This physical interconnectedness is a visual metaphor of the emotional bond and mutual protection. The bodies of the smaller cats nest and subtly overlap the largest figure, suggesting a natural hierarchy and comforting shelter.

Aesthetically, the piece adopts a flat, two‑dimensional approach that evokes folk art, pattern design, and a contemporary graphic sensibility. The color palette is restricted, dominated by saturated and contrasting tones.

Mimetically representing the fur is rejected in favor of graphic patterns of short blue lines. These rhythmic marks not only add texture and depth to the color planes, but also introduce energetic vibrancy and a visual life, giving the cats a vital presence and a rhythmic quality that repeats throughout the composition. The expressions of the cats convey a mix of alertness, curiosity, and self-awareness.

Together, "The Bond of the Chromatic Pack" is a symbolic portrait of unity and connection, where color, abstract form, and pattern come together to celebrate domestic life and the bonds that define a family, regardless of species.
