Description from the seller

Sterling silver box 925 – Spain – second half of the 20th century

Elegant square box made in 925 sterling silver, of Spanish production, with a solid cast silver lid, produced by the casting technique and subsequently finished with a fine chiseling and oxidation work that enhances all ornamental details.

The lid features rich relief decoration inspired by Renaissance and Baroque styles, with a large central rose window surrounded by vegetal motifs, volutes and classical architectural elements, offering a balanced composition of great artistic quality.

The body, with sober lines, elegantly contrasts with the decorative richness of the lid, while the vermeil interior provides a refined finish and additional protection for the silver.

The piece preserves the Spanish 925 silver contrasts, visible on the interior.

This is an excellent quality box, ideal for storing small jewelry, coins, pills, mementos, or other valuable objects, as well as an attractive piece for collectors of contemporary Spanish silverware.

Features:
• Material: 925 sterling silver
• Origin: Spain
• Solid cast silver lid
• Partially gilded interior (vermeil)
• Weight: 42 g
• Dimensions: 3.5 × 3.5 × 2 cm
• Era: second half of the 20th century

The piece is in very good overall condition, with minor signs of use consistent with its age.

The photographs form part of the description and faithfully show the condition of the piece.
