Artiginato - Toy - 1940-1950

Vintage horse-shaped puppet carved from wood and hand-painted, featuring an antiqued polychrome finish with signs of wear on the white body, colorful decorative details on the hooves and the back, and fabric finishes around the neck.
It is equipped with articulated limbs connected by control cords attached to the legs, head, and shoulders, typical of folk art and collectible toys.
The horse’s body is divided into highly flexible articulated sections, designed specifically to reproduce a gallop or very realistic sinuous movements on stage.
