Description from the seller
Anna Szelągowska (b. 1992) is a Polish contemporary painter. Painting entered her life in adulthood and gradually evolved from a personal passion into a full-time artistic practice. Through years of dedicated work and self-directed learning, she has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in figurative painting.
Her works are characterised by expressive colour, dynamic compositions and symbolic human figures. Rather than portraying specific individuals, Szelągowska creates open, evocative scenes that invite personal interpretation.
"Outlines" series - an outline reveals just enough to recognise a form, while leaving everything else to the imagination.
This is an acrylic painting on cotton canvas, 60x70 cm framed in gold (frame width: 4,6 cm). Fragments of the painting cover with golden leaf.
