A quintessential comedian of theatre and cinema, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort, or Gérard Depardieu.

Trained in painting under the master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous, and deeply humane body of work. His paintings, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a profoundly human gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity. A complete artist, each canvas tells a story and moves with its authenticity.
