Comprehensive descriptions of the best-known orchid plants, specialized greenhouse management, temperature requirements and historical propagation techniques. Illustrations: Contains numerous woodcuts of plant species, architectural designs and show greenhouses. (cf. Google)
Condition:
Spine lightly rubbed and bumped at the corners. Both hinges are cracked and the two flyleaves are torn along the fold. Front free endpaper stamped by the previous owner. Title verso darkened with marker (5 lines). Paper slightly browned and later increasingly brown-speckled, as well as occasionally with impressions of dried plant remnants placed to dry in the book or rusty paperclips. Otherwise a nice overall impression.
