Beautiful and large Ukrainian painting by Taras Stepanovich Dzhus (1975), Carnival of Venice, 85 x 105 cm, oil on canvas, year 2000. Signed.
The painting will be sold with authentication based on the photo that includes the export permit and a museum appraisal from Chernihiv, with the signature of the director and the expert, the stamp, the catalog number in the archive, and the date. (see photo).
IMPORTANT!!! If shipping outside the European Community, the lot will be shipped only after clearance from the competent authority. The aforementioned timings are not the responsibility of the lot proposer (recently about 2 weeks are needed). The procedures with the Fine Arts Directorate are the seller’s responsibility.
Customs duties are the buyer’s responsibility.
The frame is new and is provided as a gift.
biography:
He was born in Yalta, in the Crimean Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. He is a painter.
Son of artists Stepan Petrovich Dzhus (born 1941) and Lyudmila Timofeevna Dzhus (born 1944). From 1990 to 1995 he studied at the Samokish Art School of Crimea. From 1995 to 2001 he collaborated with the typography of the National Academy of Arts and Architecture in Kiev. From 2001 to 2004 he pursued further studies in the easel painting department at the National Academy of Arts and Architecture in Kiev. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions. He is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 2002). He was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine (2009). His works are held in museums and important collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Japan, Italy, Canada, and the United States.
