Atmospheric Tiffany-style table lamp/desk lamp with dragonfly motif and richly detailed base.
A very atmospheric and high-quality finished table lamp in the well-known Tiffany style, executed with the iconic dragonfly motif (Dragonfly).
The shade is composed of countless pieces of handcrafted stained glass in warm blue-orange and cream tones. The dragonflies are beautifully detailed with filigree wings and red and amber inlaid glass cabochons, which when lit create a particularly warm and fairy-tale-like light effect.
What makes this piece special is the very detailed base:
The base features a copper/brass-colored finish with inlaid blue glass mosaic that spirals upward.
The heavy round base is richly decorated with relief depictions of dragonflies and mosaic inlay, perfectly matching the shade design.
A stunning focal point that fits excellently in both a classic, Art Nouveau/Jugendstil, and a modern interior.
In very good, working condition (see photos). The glass is intact and the wiring has been checked.
