Wall holder “Newspapers” – Netherlands – circa 1920–1930

A distinctive Dutch wall holder for newspapers and magazines, made of wood with a richly decorated patinated brass plate.

The front plate bears the inscription “Dagbladen” and is adorned with butterflies and floral motifs, fitting within Art Nouveau / early Art Deco.

Bijzondere Nederlandse wandhouder voor dagbladen en tijdschriften, uitgevoerd in hout met een rijk gedecoreerde gepatineerde messing plaat.

De frontplaat draagt het opschrift “Dagbladen” en is versierd met vlinders en florale motieven, passend binnen Art Nouveau / vroege Art Deco.

Goede authentieke staat met normale passende bij leeftijd ouderdoms- en gebruikssporen en een mooie natuurlijke patina. Foto’s maken deel uit van de beschrijving.
