Description from the seller
Urban Echo
Mixed media on linen canvas – 215 × 80 cm (2026)
Urban Echo joins the Where the Abstract and Nature Merge series, a set of works that explores the relationship between the animal world, contemporary abstraction, and the language of urban art.
In this vertical composition, an animal figure emerges from successive layers of color, gestures, lines, stains, and drips, creating a presence that is simultaneously organic and urban. The central form is built through the overlap of figurative and abstract elements, allowing the figure to fuse partially with the surrounding environment.
The natural texture of the linen canvas remains visible in different zones of the composition, reinforcing the material and organic dimension of the work. On this surface develops a spontaneous language, marked by gestural brushstrokes, spray, drawn lines, writing, and strong chromatic contrasts.
The composition establishes a dialogue between nature and urban space. The animal figure seems to emerge as a kind of echo within a landscape built by marks, colors, and visual memories. The different layers create depth and movement, while the drips and spontaneous interventions reveal the process of constructing the work.
Urban Echo thus explores the idea of coexistence between the natural and the urban, between what remains recognizable and what is transformed through the artistic gesture. The figure is not merely represented, but built and deconstructed at the same time, allowing different interpretations by the observer.
Every detail was executed by hand, making this an original and unique work, with no reproductions.
Technique: Mixed media on linen canvas (acrylics, spray, markers and other materials).
Year: 2026
Dimensions: 215 × 80 cm.
