Franz van Severdonck (1809-1889), Attributed to - Hühner

Original, old oil painting by "Franz van Severdonck" (1809 - 1889, Brussels) from the mid-19th century
painted on a thick wooden panel,
Size 42 x 31 cm, (Overall size with frame 63 x 52 cm)
The painting is signed in the lower right corner in red color, in small letters, illegible, but still readable, (hidden by the frame!). Whether it has ever been restored in any form before, I cannot judge, but at a later time a suitable frame (with a brass name plate) was specially made for it.
The wooden panel also has a label and numbers on the back.
I bought the painting many years ago in an art dealership.
The condition is aged but still acceptable, however with some uneven surface in parts
as well as some retouched, matte spots at the edge (see pictures!)
The painting will be shipped with the accompanying frame, made later.
