Description from the seller

I built this painting as one builds a memory: in layers.
On a wooden support I created a collage: newspaper clippings glued on top of each other, words that can no longer be read but remain, like an echo.
On this memory I spread the color, letting it emerge and hide, as emotions do when they search for a form.
The figure has no face because I don’t want to give it a name.
It is a boundary, a passage, a place suspended where one can get lost without fear.
Before it, red opens up like a held breath, kept too long.
It is life, it is a heartbeat, it is something that insists.
And in the middle, that house: small, essential, immobile.
It is not a place to reach, but to recognize.
In this work I seek a space in which to inhabit my own self, between what remains and what disappears.
A fragile, silent place, where even absence becomes presence.

The painting is equipped with a hanging device, so it is ready to be hung.
I used a transparent glossy protective varnish.
The work will be shipped with its certificate of authenticity.
SHIPPING INSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION ONLY.

I have always lived art as an expressive necessity and a natural language. My artistic path has immediately placed the female figure at the center, a subject that over time has evolved, transforming from a traditional figurative representation to a decidedly more intimate and conceptual exploration.
Today my production focuses on faceless women. In place of somatic traits, the faces welcome evocative landscapes that fuse the human element with nature, projecting the observer into a decidedly surreal scenario. The figure thus becomes an access point to inner worlds, where personal identity dissolves to make room for a universal and timeless space.
From a technical point of view, the support I use is a wooden board. On this solid, living surface I first create a base collage, by layering newspaper pages glued with white acrylic paint: it builds textures and visual suggestions. Subsequently, I intervene with acrylic paint. This layered process allows me to achieve a strongly tactile result, where the three-dimensionality of the background dialogues with the color, giving the finished work a unique tactile and visual depth.
I have participated in solo and group exhibitions. My works have found homes in private collections around the world—in the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, and Poland.
