The painting belongs to a series named "My Neighbor", started in 2024, where unique and different moments of the lives of the "neighbours" are represented from a voyeuristic perspective.
Through these scenes, I invite the viewer to occupy the position of silent observer of others’ daily life - someone who witnesses fragments of intimacy, routine or provocation, without ever being noticed.

Patrícia Trindade (1989) is a Portuguese artist with a degree in Fine Arts and a Master of Painting, both from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Although she has devoted herself, over the years, to several painting series with diverse themes, the male figure has become the central element of her work. This has served as a motive for various approaches and narratives - from the objectification of the body, to erotism, to homosexuality and voyeurism – that question the usual representations of virility and passivity of genders in iconographic representations.
