Federico Patellani - Milano 1956

This is an interesting photograph from 1956 by the famous Lombard photographer Federico Patellani, regarded as one of the greatest Italian photographers of the 20th century.
The image was taken outdoors, in a taxi stand, and depicts a female taxi driver, a 'rare' shot, since in 1956 this person, whose name is not known, was almost certainly the ONLY woman to hold this license in Milan, among about 1500/1800 male colleagues...
On the back we find, of course, the photographer's stamp, the old stamp from the 1950s, and handwritten inscriptions, one of which is probably contemporary.
A particular photograph of a great artist, rare in the peculiarity of the subject and well described on the back, also with numerous handwritten notes, one of which is from the period.
Excellent overall condition, the format is quite large for the author's habits, namely 29.3x23.3 cm.
