"Shadows", oil on MDF, 29.5 x 24.8 cm, 2026
Oil painting on a 1 cm thick MDF board.
Edges of the board painted in the same color as the background.
Signed and dated in the bottom right corner.
Support prepared on all sides.
Painting with varnish (removable).
The painting belongs to a series titled "The Nude as Pretext", which centers on male nudity. This project has been developed since 2014 to the present date, comprising a series of paintings and drawings. One of the works from this project won in 2018 the "Premio Fondo de Adquisición de Pintura ‘Antonio López García’", in Spain.
Patrícia Trindade is a Portuguese artist, who has participated in exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, France, Denmark, Latvia, Mexico, USA, Montenegro, etc. Her works are in public collections of international museums; and works in private collections across Europe.
