Historical genre scene with numerous knights, horses and pages in front of a stable in a castle courtyard. Heavily gilded stucco frame. Frame partly slightly defective.
Eggena, genre and landscape painter, illustrator. Studied at the academies in Kassel and Munich. Student of Wilhelm von Diez. Freelance contributor to various illustrated journals. Works in several German museums * Partner auction Bergmann.

Historische Genreszene mit zahlreichen Rittern, Pferden und Knappen vor einer Stallung in einem Burg-Innenhof. Schwerer vergoldeter Stuckrahmen. Rahmen partiell leicht defekt.
Eggena, Genre- und Landschaftsmaler, Illustrator. Studierte an den Akademien in Kassel und München. Schüler von Wilhelm von Diez. Freier Mitarbeiter diverser illustrierter Zeitschriften. Werke in einigen deutschen Museen * Partnerauktion Bergmann.
