Letter holder - Gilt brass

Very pretty antique brass letter holder, richly decorated and pierced.

It features three successive compartments for sorting letters, cards, and correspondence. The plaques are adorned with an elegant pattern of scrolls, arabesques, and stylized botanical motifs.

Typical of the Rococo style of the late 19th century.
