Carlo Cisonti - Maria Callas

This is an interesting photograph by the very renowned Lombard photographer Carlo Cisventi, a great photographer who worked a lot with Federico Patellani, who was also the photographer of choice for various artists and painters, among whom Roberto Crippa.
The image was taken in the Milanese home of the singer, together with her husband at the time, the industrialist Giovanni Battista Meneghini.
On the back we obviously find the photographer's stamp, the old stamp from the '50s, and handwritten annotations, among which the pencil-written year 1956, which is presumed to be the date of the shot of this image.
A particular photograph by a great photographer, rare in the peculiarity of its subject.
Good overall condition, two small tears at the base, format 26.7x21.3 cm.
