Description from the seller
In silence
In silence is a contemporary figurative work that explores an instant of introspection and contemplation through a close and fragmented composition of the human figure.
The face appears partially hidden and blends visually with the arms and body, creating an intimate scene in which the posture conveys calm, pause, and a certain sense of isolation from the outside world. The close framing invites the viewer to approach the figure and share that moment of stillness.
The work is built from a soft palette of creams, pinks, greens and blues, crossed by deeper brushstrokes that delineate the shapes and provide rhythm to the composition. The painterly gesture remains visible and spontaneous, giving the surface a fresh and expressive quality.
More than representing a concrete action, In silence seeks to convey an emotional state. The figure seems to inhabit a space of its own, detached from external noise, turning the body into a refuge and the painting into a suspended moment.
An intimate and sensitive work, where contemporary figuration and the freedom of the brushstroke come together to speak of calm, introspection and inner silence.

Brief Bio: I am particularly interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a point of view with which they can identify. Whether through discomfort, serenity or contemplation, my aim is to generate a space for reflection and questioning. Artistically, I am drawn to vibrant colors, pronounced saturations, and fresh chromatic ranges.
I find a great source of inspiration in observing our social and natural environment. I often like to imagine that I am observing the planet from far away; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the realm of the feminine, addressing its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive, and introspective look.
