The spinning wheel is entirely made of dark-stained, seasoned hardwood and shows a splendid natural patina that testifies to decades of history. The object features a characteristic large drive wheel on the right and a traditional spinning head mechanism on the left.

Mechanism: The wooden 'mother' (crossbeam) is equipped with the original, sturdy wooden adjustment screw at the front. This allows the position of the spinning head to be manually adjusted to regulate the tension on the (not included) drive belt.
