Description from the seller
The Escape is a contemporary figurative work that captures a moment of movement and freedom. A white horse strides through the landscape with a determined gait, becoming the protagonist of a scene full of energy and dynamism.
The figure of the animal stands out for the luminosity of its body, created with brushstrokes of whites, blues, and violets. The mane and tail, swept back, visually reinforce the sense of speed and movement, while the horse's posture conveys strength and determination.
The surrounding landscape is built in a free and expressive manner, combining deep greens with pinks, ochres, and oranges. The visible, gestural brushwork makes the vegetation and the mountains seem to vibrate around the animal, creating a contrast between the calm of the surroundings and the energy of the figure.
The title, The Escape, introduces a narrative and emotional dimension: the horse seems to move toward an open space, leaving behind the landscape that surrounds it. However, the work does not define what it is escaping from, allowing each viewer to construct their own interpretation.
A painting of great visual impact that uses movement, color, and gesture to speak of freedom, impulse, and the desire to move forward. An open, imaginative scene in which the landscape becomes the stage of a flight toward the unknown.

Brief Bio: I am particularly interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a point of view with which they can identify. Whether through discomfort, serenity, or contemplation, my aim is to generate a space for reflection and questioning. In painting terms, I am drawn to vibrant colors, strong saturations, and fresh chromatic ranges.
I find a rich source of inspiration in observing our social and natural environment. I often like to imagine that I am observing the planet from far away; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the universe of femininity, approaching its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive, and introspective gaze.
