Gitanilla with a tinaja, oil on canvas by Francisco Benítez Perea (Morón, Seville, Spain. 1940-2008). A descendant and prominent painter of the Sevillian school in the second half of the 20th century alongside Monedero, Ressendi, Manuel Flores, A. Rodrigues Almanza... and founder of the Morón de la Frontera School of Painting. Seville.
He was a prominent painter with works from various periods and styles: magical realism, realist genre scenes, social denunciation... A painter representative of the golden era of Flamenco in Morón 1960-1970 through his Andalusian vanguardism, the foremost precursor of the style of Antonio Adelardo García. He has received several national and international awards and exhibitions.
