For sale is a noble, hand-painted oval serving plate from the renowned Hungarian porcelain manufactory Herend, from the famous Apponyi Purpur series (also known in English as Chinese Bouquet Pink / Raspberry).
The plate impresses with the fine hand-painting featuring the floral Apponyi peony motif, the elegant gold trim around the edge, and the characteristic relief texture in a basket weave pattern (Osier) on the banner.
