Mauro Manetti - Cooler - Metal, Aluminium

An iconic and high-quality piece of Italian design from the Hollywood Regency era. This stunning vintage duck-shaped ice bucket was designed around 1970 by the renowned artist Mauro Manetti and manufactured in Italy (signed on the underside of the tail with the well-known signature M/M Italy).

The piece is exceptionally well-cast from heavy metal and features detailed silvering. The plumage and anatomy of the duck are rendered with beautiful, tangible relief. The top functions as a detachable lid, beneath which sits the insulated inner bucket to keep ice cubes cool. An absolute eyecatcher for a luxury bar interior or as an exclusive decorative piece.

In good to very good vintage condition with normal age-related patina and light signs of use (see detail photos). The interior is neat and functional.
