Description from the seller
Habited Geometry (Gardens) explores the relationship between architecture, nature, and memory through a landscape built with essential geometric shapes. The houses, repeated like an urban fabric, dialogue with small gardens and trees that emerge as symbols of life, refuge, and remembrance. The composition, dominated by an intense palette of reds, pinks, and oranges, generates a warm and vibrant atmosphere where space oscillates between reality and poetic evocation. With a minimalist and contemporary visual language, the work invites the viewer to traverse an emotional territory in which each structure seems to contain a story, transforming the city into a place that is intimate, silent, and deeply inhabited.
About R.Robin
Robinson Rodríguez García is a visual artist, theater designer, and drawing professor, born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and based in Spain. He graduated in 2003 from the Provincial Academy of Fine Arts, developing an artistic practice centered on painting and contemporary language, where abstraction, geometry, and a strong symbolic charge converge. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught drawing workshops at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech School of Art Instructors, and between 2006 and 2009 he worked as a costume and scenic designer for the Provincial Council of Performing Arts of Santa Clara, an experience that decisively influenced his spatial and formal conception within the visual arts.
His work has been presented in various solo exhibitions in Cuba, highlighting shows at the Provincial Gallery of Art and in institutional spaces in Santa Clara. He has also participated in important group exhibitions and international fairs, including Art Basel Miami, group exhibitions in France, and contemporary art events in the Americas and Europe. In 2017 he participated in art fairs in Mexico. His career is complemented by international studies and workshops related to scenographic design and visual creation, consolidating a multidisciplinary artistic profile that dialogues between painting, space, and contemporary symbolic experience.
