Description from the seller

I am a visual artist based in Madrid where, from my studio and creative laboratory, I develop my most personal work, projects, and collaborations with brands for over 20 years. I have worked for brands such as Cervezas Alhambra, TotCor, Raima, Diputación de Barcelona, Grup ATRA, Sr. Martín, and Therapyside, among others.

I hold a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, a master's in communication and marketing focused on art, and a higher degree in plastic arts and design in textile art. I earned the teaching aptitude certificate where I combine my passion for painting (90%) with teaching (10%). I especially enjoy teaching in social welfare settings, as I believe in the importance of art in less privileged environments: "art can transform people’s mindsets and it is people who can improve the world."

I like art education because it forces me to leave the studio and engage with people, to forge real connections and reflect them in my pictorial work.

I have exhibited in galleries such as Ola Gallery in Barcelona and La Panartería in Madrid, specializing in urban and contemporary art. I have also shown work at Creatitis Gallery in Madrid and Casa Panot in Barcelona, and I exhibited in Berlin at BcmA Contemporary Art Laboratory. My work has also been part of the exhibition at the National Ceramic and Decorative Arts Museum ‘González Martí’ in Valencia.

I experiment with urban art, installation, and mural painting. I have created several large-format murals in Madrid and Barcelona.

I have participated in numerous urban art festivals such as Pintamalasaña and CALLE in Madrid, winning the award for poster design in 2024. I have also taken part in CI Urban Fest in Madrid and FemFabrik in Barcelona. I have received various mentions, and my collectors are all around the world: France, Belgium, Spain, the United States, Portugal, and Germany.

Before studying fine arts, I came from the world of mathematics and physics, so I am very interested in topics like the cosmos and the universe, science, and human and universal connections.

Although I come from a classical and figurative academic education from the University of Fine Arts, what I enjoy is working with abstract art because it forces me to paint without focusing too much on what appears on the canvas, embracing and making use of accident. It is gestural and intuitive painting that connects with my most primitive and authentic self. I tend to work in series; it helps me organize emotions and feelings.

I am inspired by films like "Contact" or "Interstellar" and they directly influence my painting with their aesthetics and their vision of dystopian futures that fuel my imagination. I have also been influenced in my plastic language by artists such as Joan Miró, Hilma af Klint, Sonia Delaunay, and Kandinsky.

I enjoy creating connections with my clients; I believe it is the way to close the circle between artist and collector, where the energy of the collective transforms and gives meaning to the act of creation.

This work explores human and universal connections through the dance of brushstrokes, textures, and colors, creating a vital flow. The Dialogue of Humanity with Nature manifests as a deep connection, harmony, and cosmic chaos between the human being and everything around us.

Technique: Mixed media: acrylic and marker. There are no prints.

Round canvas 50x50 cm. Mounted on a frame. (professional packaging). The work can be hung from different perspectives.

Hand-signed on the back. Includes certificate of authenticity.

Seller's Story

I am a visual artist from Spain and my alter ego is Kromatik. Since I finished my studies in Fine Arts I have been experimenting in different fields such as painting, installation, urban art, murals and design, creating my own enigmatic and visual style. I use intense colors as a personal language, organic shapes full of life that have the ability to envelop you with positivity and reflection. It may seem frivolous or naive, but using color to express yourself in these times is an act of rebellion. I have exhibited in numerous hotels and galleries between Madrid and Barcelona, where I currently work and have my studio, my works have been sold in places such as the United States, Mexico, Spain and France, among others. My work has been selected in urban art and muralism competitions in Spain. I have collaborated with brands such as Cervezas Alhambra, Therapyside, Diputació de Barcelona, TotCor, Sr. Marest...
