Holy water font (4) - 1940-1950, 1930-1940

A collection of four vintage and antique Catholic holy-water basins (stouts or bénitiers) made of wood and metal. They are designed to hang on the wall and feature traditional religious motifs.
The modern enamel basin bears the inscription CREDO.
The metal basin features a Chi-Rho (XP) symbol.
The large wooden one has a beautifully weathered, authentic patina that testifies to its age.
On the side are the original hanging loops.
The smaller wooden one contains the cross with rays.
This is the Latin cross, the most important symbol of Christianity.
