Antique multi-row bracelet in (gilded) silver with natural coral as the main stone and natural pearls as surrounding stones, dating to the first half of the 19th century (c. 1820–1840), weighing 52 g, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.

The bracelet consists of several rows of intensely orange-red natural coral beads of very beautiful, vivid color. Especially noteworthy are the numerous genuine natural pearls (no cultured pearls).
The large, massive and extremely decorative clasp is made of gilded silver. It is richly pierced and ornamentally worked and set with coral as well as numerous natural pearls. On the back there are old marks, including the initials “FD” as well as a separate mark with a lion.
Based on the workmanship, the materials used and the marks, I suspect English origin. As a possible attribution, I consider an attribution to the milieu of Frances Douglas worth checking; this attribution should, however, be explicitly verified by an expert using the marks.
