Decorative hand-carved Thai wall panel made of teak wood, here presented on a modern black display stand. This type of Asian woodcarving is known for its traditional, openwork flora and jungle motifs, such as stylized lotus flowers, grapevines and leaves.
Such panels are traditionally produced in Southeast Asia (notably in the Chiang Mai region in Thailand) from recycled teak. They are often used as decorative wall art, as a headboard for a bed, or as a atmospheric accent in an interior. Would look beautiful on a sideboard.

Dimensions: about 36.5 cm high, on a base of 20.5 cm wide, and 6.5 cm deep.

Condition: in good condition with minimal signs of use.

Decoratief handgesneden Thais wandpaneel gemaakt van teakhout, hier gepresenteerd op een moderne zwarte displaystandaard. Dit type Aziatisch houtsnijwerk staat bekend om zijn traditionele, opengewerkte flora- en junglemotieven, zoals gestileerde lotusbloemen, wijnranken en bladeren.
Dergelijke panelen worden in Zuidoost-Azië (met name in de regio Chiang Mai in Thailand) traditioneel vervaardigd uit gerecycled teakhout. Ze worden vaak gebruikt als decoratieve muurkunst, hoofdeinde voor een bed of sfeervol accent in een interieur. Zou mooi staan op een dressoir.
