Filled vintage wooden sewing box from the 1960s – accordion version

Charming and practical wooden sewing box from the 1960s, featuring the characteristic fold-out accordion system. A atmospheric item from a time when sewing, mending and handicrafts had a fixed place in the household.

The box is made of warm-toned wood and has multiple layers and separate compartments. Thanks to the hinged wooden arms, the compartments open in steps to both sides. This immediately creates a clear workspace for thread, needles, pins, buttons and other notions.

The sturdy carrying handle makes the box easily portable. The two top lids are fitted with small wooden knobs and close the set neatly. The subtle brass-colored fittings form a beautiful detail against the warm wood tone.

Condition

The sewing box is in good vintage condition with signs of use and aging that suit its age. Localized light scratches, discolorations and small spots are visible. The fold-out mechanism works and the box presents nicely.
