Copy featuring on the title page a signed autographed inscription by E. A. Herbodeau, in blue ink:

“To Mr. Podliachouk, my best memory and my warmest regards”

followed by his signature.

The work contains 30 illustrations by Jean Oberlé, in a humorous style that is characteristic of him.

The mention and the signature of Jean Oberlé on the title page appear to be part of the printing and are therefore not presented as autographs.

A particularly uncommon publication

This brochure seems to have had a very limited distribution. Bibliographic and commercial research shows an extremely small number of copies.

One of the rare references found concerns the copy from the personal library of Eugène Herbodeau, offered at auction at Drouot in December 2024, accompanied by the original document of his lecture.

To date, very few copies of this publication appear on the market or in online catalogs, underscoring the exceptional rarity of this edition.

Dimensions: about 21 × 16 cm.

Condition: good overall for a 1934 work. Soft cover with natural browning, signs of use and slight edge and spine wear. Interior well preserved.
